At our studio Phat Kat Tats strives for perfection by pushing our limits to provide artwork that keeps our work among those at the top of the industry. Everyone is an individual and is treated as such, with that in mind every tattoo is a collaborative, custom design individualized just for you. In addition we take into consideration the colors, backgrounds, placement of the tattoo, size and of course the person it is going on. If you can think it Phat Kat Tats can ink it!

All of our equipment is fresh, right out of the package grade-A-sterile materials opened right in front of you. We never reuse our needles; only new packaged needles are used. Having hundreds of clients coming through our doors monthly, the only the way to insure a sanitary condition is to eliminate an unsanitary one, not only for your health but ours as well.
The combination of old-world commitment to quality and modern tattoo, and sterilization equipment coupled with over 25 years of experience just means we know what we are doing.
Phat Kat Tats created one of the most successful tattoo competition/conventions in 2000, The New Extreme Millennium Tattoo Extravaganza. The competition/convention was held in Conroe, TX, at Del Lago Resort outside of Houston, Texas. Most of the best known tattoo artists attended the competition/convention, such as James & Tim Kern, Jimmy Litwalk, Deano Cook, Tony Olivas…and judging the competitions were Gil Montie, Julie Bell, and Boris Vallejo! That competition/convention was the first event of it kind ever paying competing artists top dollar, as well as actual awards for placing in the top 3 in their categories.

In 2010 Phat Kat Tats will produce the US Tattoo Master’s Competition Tour, a 10 city Tour featuring the best tattoo artists from around the world, all competing for some of the largest prize money ever awarded. The competition/convention will also highlight the Tattoo Hall of Fame which Phat Kat Tats has been working on for nearly 5 years. It will also be the first announcement of the Tattoo Live Time Achievement Award’s Nominees.
